The Story:

There is no way I could choose just one favourite spread for this unique and original picture book. From the cover to the end pages and everything in between, the detail and artistry Sharon has incorporated into this book is astounding and truly magical.
The words and illustrations work together seamlessly. Sharon pours so much emotional storytelling into each page, that this book lingers with you long after you finish reading it.
From the castle, to the colourful jungle and into the depths of the ocean, each spread draws you deeper and deeper into the story of the legendary Starbird.
The Verdict:
I could tell from the cover this was going to be a special book and it did not disappoint. With its beautiful story and truly stunning silver foil illustrations, Starbird would make a perfect gift this Christmas.
